Police is afraid of the T-shirt inscription

Uladzimir Niapomniaschykh, democratic activist, was arrested in Homel, Republic of Belarus. Police didn't like an inscription on his T-shirt “For Republic of Belarus without Lukashenka”. Authorities for propaganda in the country usually use a similar slogan (“For Belarus”).

Now the member of the United Civil Party Uladzimir Niapomniaschykh is in the police station of Homel.

The chairman of the Homel regional organization of the United Civil Party Vasil Paliakou said to “Belaruski Partyzan” that Uladzimir was going to the meeting of democratic forces of Homel. “There is every likelihood that it was a preventing arrest. The inscription on his T-shirt was only a reason to do it”, Vasil Paliakou said.

By the way, this case about unauthorized inscription on the T-shirt is under control of the police captain V. Shukel. This police officer is well-known to the Homel oppositionists. He drew up a protocol on administrative infringement of the law when solidarity action was held in 2009. There were Uladzimir Kacora, Yury Zakharanka, Piotr Kuzniacou, Vasil Paliakou and Anatoly Paplauny in that protocol.
